When onion met garlic

Working on a large painting with a three-hair brush can be excruciating.

To break the tension, I do what everyone does, open the fridge. These onion and half used garlic head were resting on the lower shelf, doing things onions and garlics usually do. Before they could say "bolognese" they found themselves on the window sill and I had an excuse to abandon my leaf-by-leaf painting of a Parisian avenue. No complaints were filed and the painting has since found a new home.

Mood painting with onion and garlic, oil on panel, 24x19cm.
